Academic Program
M.A. in Public Policy – Leadership Track
The Barak Leadership Center supports and accompanies a prestigious Master’s degree program in Public Policy, with a focus on Leadership. The program is an academic track within the School of Public Policy at Tel Aviv University and provides advanced academic training that equips participants with professional tools for policymaking and for navigating a complex and highly challenging world. These tools include strategic planning, decision-making, evidence-based policy, ethics, an understanding of complex systems, and leading large-scale change processes.
In addition to the academic curriculum, students in the program benefit from a comprehensive support framework provided by the Barak Leadership Center. This framework includes workshops and meetings with policymakers, leadership simulations guided by experts, an international study tour focused on global policymaking frameworks, study visits to key decision-making centers in Israel, and additional enrichment activities. The Center continues to accompany alumni after graduation, supporting them on their path to national leadership roles and throughout their service in such positions.
Participants are selected based on a demonstrated high potential to assume national leadership positions. The Barak Leadership Center awards generous scholarships to qualified candidates.
